Reshape the Future of Energy. With Us.

At Skellium, we’re not just building better batteries — we’re redefining what’s possible for electric mobility. Based in Aachen and backed by the EXIST Research Transfer programme, we’ve developed a breakthrough manufacturing process for lithium-metal anodes that makes next-generation solid-state batteries safer, more efficient, and ready for scale. Think: EVs with 1,000+ km range. That’s the world we’re building.

We’re a small, ambitious team at the very beginning of something big — and we’re looking for a Bachelor’s or Master’s student who wants to shape the production technology behind the next generation of batteries.

  • Interested in technical project work with direct customer relevance
  • Structured, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership
  • Enthusiastic about battery technology and the fast-moving environment of a start-up
  • Able to communicate technical topics clearly to both internal and external stakeholders
  • A team player who works collaboratively and reliably

What You Get

  • Real responsibility in customer-facing technology projects
  • A clearly scoped thesis with flexible implementation
